I had a few options as the background color for #StillGoodEP and we were all discussing (@luftmanp , @charlesnkeys and I ) I love them all!!
Then i stoppeds for a moment and went for the first one as it reminded me of the cover of one of my favourite books #UntetheredSoul by #MichaelASinger ✨ It saved me from those days feeling called from the inside, while being snowed in confusions of my thoughts ✨ if you felt like you’re not in tuned with your heart and soul, you might wanna read it 🔮 ( all the quotes in this post are from Untethered Soul)
coincidently, back in November last year when I was going through a tough time, I found out the Japanese word for this colour ✨ they called it “mizu”… “In Japan, 'mizu' is as different from 'blue' as 'green' is from 'blue.” I guess this colour has become the representation of - well, let me try to come up with a word for it - maybe, “quietly tremendous transformation” to me, like, some sort of transitions… the kind of revolution that doesn’t happen overnight, but little by little each day💓 with both darkness and lightness ✨ if you’ve been with me through my captions, you have probably read it! ✨

เอาใจสายแฟนๆซีรี่ส์ และหนังดังอย่าง Game of Thrones, Star Trek (Into Darkness) และ Star Wars กันบ้าง
พาไปชมแนวชายหาดทรายสีดำขลับที่มีชื่อเสียงอย่าง Reynisfjara ประเทศไอซ์แลนด์ โดยชายหาดแห่งนี้ทอดยาวหลายกิโลเมตรตั้งแต่โขดหิน Dyrhóleay ที่ต้นหาดไปจนถึงหมู่บ้านเล็กๆ ในเมือง Vík ที่ National Geographic ยกให้เป็น 1 ใน 21 หาดทรายที่สวยที่สุดในโลกหรือหลายคนจัดให้เป็นสถานที่ที่ควรไปเยี่ยมชมสักครั้งก่อนตาย

ทำไมหาดทรายถึงมีสีดำ ?
สีดำของทรายเชื่อว่าเกิดมาจากการระเบิดครั้งใหญ่ของภูเขาไฟ Katla ที่อยู่ใกล้เคียงหาดเมื่อหลายพันปีก่อน การระเบิดครั้งนั้นนำพาเอาเถ้าถ่านภูเขาไฟและลาวาออกมาจำนวนมาก ลาวาที่ร้อนจัดเจอกับนำทะเลที่เย็นจัดหรือกล่าวคืออุณหภูมิแตกต่างกันมากทำให้เกิดการแข็งตัวแบบฉับพลัน วันเวลาผ่านไปลาวาที่แข็งตัวก็โดนทั้งน้ำทะเล ทั้งกระแสลมกัดเซาะจนขนาดเล็กลง รอยคมรอยแตกหักถูกตะไบด้วยธรรมชาติจนกลายเป็นหาดทรายสีดำในที่สุด

แต่เมื่อลองนำทรายมาตากให้แห้งจะพบว่าจริงๆแล้วมีสีเทาไม่ใช่สีดำ นั่นหมายถึงความชื้นส่งผลต่อสีของหาดทรายแห่งนี้ เนื่องด้วยทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในเขตมรสุมที่มีฝนตกเกือบตลอดเวลาจึงทำให้ชายหาดแห่งนี้มีสีดำตลอดนั่นเอง

ชายหาดสีดำมีที่ไหนบ้าง??
หาดสีดำที่มีชื่อเสียงไม่แพ้กัน คือ หาดปูนาลู (Punalu’u Beach) ในหมู่เกาะฮาวายเป็นหาดทรายจะมีสีดำตลอดทั้งปี สาเหตุที่ทรายบนหาดแห่งนี้มีสีดำก็เป็นผลมาจากการระเบิดของภูเขาไฟกับหาดทรายดำในไอซแลนด์ เพียงแต่ในฮาวายจะเป็นภูเขาไฟใต้น้ำที่ระเบิดขึ้นมาและและเมื่อลาวาที่ไหลทะลักออกมาเจอกับน้ำก็ทำให้เกิดการเย็นตัวอย่างรวดเร็วกลายเป็นหินบะซอลต์ ภายหลังจึงถูกคลื่นทะเลกัดเซาะและพัดเถ้าถ่าน เศษหินสีดำมาปกคลุมหาดในที่สุด

ชายหาดดำที่ Sausalito แคลิฟลอเนีย
ทางใต้ของแหลมมารินในพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติโกลเดนเกตซึ่งเกิดจากหินภูเขาไฟที่ถูกกัดเซาะเช่นเดียวกัน หรือพี่ไทยของเราเองก็มีหาดทรายดำเหมือนกัน ตั้งอยู่ที่หาดนางทอง บริเวณเขาหลัก จังหวัดพังงา สีดำจากหาดแห่งนี้ไม่ได้เกิดจากภูเขาไฟระเบิดเหมือนต่างประเทศแต่เป็นผลพวงมาจากการทำเหมืองแร่ดีบุกในอดีต เมื่อกิจการเหมืองแร่เลิกกิจการไปแล้วก็ยังคงมีเศษซากลงเหลืออยู่และมากพอจนทำให้หาดนางทองกลายเป็นหาดทรายสีดำ

ตัวอย่างชายหาดดำอื่นๆทั่วโลกที่สวยไม่แพ้กัน ได้แก่ หาด Ureki จอร์เจีย, Albay ฟิลิปปินส์, Playa Roque Bermejo และ เกาะ Canary สเปน, Perissagreece ซานโตรินี กรีซ, Tangkokok Nature Reserve และ เกาะบาหลี อินโดนีเซีย, หาดKarekare และ หาดMuriwai นิวซีแลนด์, Tahiti เฟรนช์โปลินีเซีย, Playa Nega คอสตาริกา รวมทั้ง Dominica ทะเลแคริบเบียน สถานที่ใช้ในการถ่ายทำ "Pirates of the Caribbean"
